Donna Prince

Director of Education & Training

Donna came to Children Lighthouse in February of 2001 as Director of Education and Training. Donna has 30 years experience in early childhood education and childcare services. She has 21 years experience as a Center Director and multi-unit manager for KinderCare, Children's World, and Tutor Time. In these capacities, she was responsible for annual budgets, statistical analysis, vendor negotiations, training, and development of training materials. She has taught numerous courses for Camp Fire of Fort Worth, the Texas Licensed Child Care Association, and the National Child Care Association. Donna has served on several committees to formulate policies for various childcare organizations. Donna has revised and written all of our current operations and franchisee manuals. Donna has also developed and implemented our current employee and child safety program. Donna holds a Child Development Associate Degree, a Bachelor of Business Administration, as well as a Professional Administrator Credential and National Administrator Credential. Donna is also certified and currently teaches the National Child Care Administrator credentialing program.
