About the Owners
Lucinda and Roger Hietbrink are the owners of Children's Lighthouse in Jacksonville, Florida located in the office park of Deerwood Park South near the Town Center. Both are graduates of the University of Nebraska. Lucinda holds a Master of Business Administration degree and a Florida Advanced Director's Credential. Roger's degree is in Education and his career has spanned health and business consulting through his firm, Cornerstone Decision Support.
Lucinda has held senior management positions with Children's Home Society, SSM Healthcare, Integrated Health Services and Kimberly Quality Care.
Their combined experience and dedication to service quality is the foundation for an early learning center focused on providing an exceptional environment for children.
Lucinda is active in the day to day operation of Children's Lighthouse and serves as President of Deerwood Park Property Owner's Association. She is also an active volunteer and is responsible for bringing the national R.E.A.D. program to Jacksonville. R.E.A.D. is a literacy program that utilizes certified Therapy Dogs to promote reading skills in children. She is President of Pawsitive Pets, Inc., a nonprofit organization.
