I was very touched last week when my sons’ teachers assisted me in having an afternoon birthday celebration for my son, Joshua. They were just as excited about it as I was, and even had a little gift’s, and a handmade card for him! They organized his friends to sing to him, and didn’t get the least bit frazzled with the messy blue icing cupcakes the children tried to eat.

We are so thrilled to have Mrs. Ratisha and Ms Tricia in my son’s life and I wanted to make sure you understood how delighted we are with these quality teachers.

As most working parents understand, leaving your child at a new daycare facility can be very unsettling. We were reluctant to bring our youngest to a daycare environment at just 14 months of age, but our hesitations were put to rest quickly after having him in the care of Mrs. Ratisha and Ms Tricia.

These two make such a great team, and fill the classroom with compassion and love. They always remain calm and have a professional relationship and gentle way with each of the children. They are highly apt at multi-tasking, and tackle fun, challenging, and creative art projects and activities with the children. Joshua loves music, and is thrilled when Ms Tricia brings in her guitar to play for the kids. She shares her love for music with the children, and has encouraged Joshua to touch the strings of her personal guitar to see how the sounds are produced. Mrs. Ratisha has taught him little hand motions to go with so many of his favorite children’s songs. On the occasion that he misses us during the day, they will sit with him, and look at his family photo album, until he has settled.

Being with the children in no way appears to just be just a job to them. It is evident to us that they really enjoy being at Children’s Lighthouse. And each day they show their passion and enthusiasm in being with the children. As parents, we are content knowing that these professional and loving individuals are caring for our son.

It is getting so close to Megan going off to kindergarten and part of the emotion that I'm feeling because of that involves the fact that Children's Lighthouse will no longer be a part of out lives. We have been with you since the day you opened and have been so happy with the care given to our three children! We have felt comfortable and confident that they were in good hands everyday! It made it so much easier to go to work knowing they were learning new things, being taught good values and praising God in a positive environment. We really feel Children’s Lighthouse has been a wonderful part of our family and we will miss you all so much!! It truly makes me want to cry when I realize that our time with you is almost over! Thank you and Ms. Shanna so much for always addressing any concerns we had quickly and with such kindness. We have enjoyed Ms. Barbara and Ms. Dee with both Logan and Megan and have been so happy to see them beautifully prepared to start kindergarten. All of your staff members have been wonderful and friendly. Our children never complain and always seem happy when we pick them up. Anyways, we will certainly miss you and all the wonderful teachers and staff. Thank you for everything!! J

I would highly recommend Childrens Lighthouse to anyone in the area. I feel comfortable knowing my daughter is in good hands everyday! The teachers/staff are great and they implement an awesome curriculum. Call them and you will be glad you did.

My two girls have been going to the Children's Lighthouse for over three years now. The both love going there. One of their favorite activities is the weekly Jesus Rocks program. My little one comes home every Wednesday singing all the new songs she learned that day. I would highly recommend the Children's Lighthouse to anyone who asked.

TO THE STAFF AT CHILDRENS LIGHTHOUSE :

First preschool for my daughter after being in a home daycare. It has been a fantastic experience for her and she is starting her second year in prek4. The staff truly seems to take the time to get to know my child and her personality. She loves the school and can't wait for Wednesday and Jesus rocks with Ms. Mimi. The values taught have been so helpful in our upbringing as well.
