Pre-Schoolers

(Three-Year-Olds)

Our A Beka preschool curriculum includes language arts and comprehension, phonics and listening skills, computers, vocabulary, literature, math readiness, art, manners and values and morals. The A Beka provides numerous opportunities to succeed and build positive self-esteem.

In Preschool, your child will be able to know and say how picture or letters are alike, different, missing parts, or reserved. They will develop strength in the finger and hand muscles and develop control for finger movements and hand-eye coordination. In addition, preschoolers will learn to work from left to right and copy shapes and patterns. They will have opportunities to discover new concepts, make decisions, understand commitment and responsibility, and experience pride, loyalty, and humor in a nurturing environment.

After preschool, our children are well prepared for Kindergarten. Our staff inspires a love for learning that will last a lifetime.

Letters and Sounds

This is a beginning ABC book for young children. Each new letter is introduced by an animal alphabet friend. This animal friend helps the children recognize the letter as well as learn the letters sound. Each animal has a song that helps reinforce the sound learned. Letters and Sounds are also designed to teach early writing skills. Children learn letter formation and practice eye hand coordination as they glue items to the letters and as well as trace the letters.
