About Our Management Team

Hello! My name is Dorothy Linton. I joined the Childrens Lighthouse family in March, 2009 as the Center Director of the Carrollton center. I have been in the Early Childhood field for 33 years. I have my Director's license as well as by Associate of Applied Science/Child Development and my CDA. I have been a lead teacher, Program Coordinator,Assistant Director,and a Director.I bring an abundance of experience from all aspect of the field.

I believe that parents and family are the most significant persons in the child's life. I strive to work in a partnership with the families to benefit their child. My doors are always open to families and I encourage daily communication between parents, myself and staff members.

I believe that each child is a unique individual who develops at their own rate. I believe that our program must reflect the goals and needs of each child and their family.I also believe that a stable, safe and healthy environment is crucial to a child's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive growth.
